UPDATE 11:45 am: Snow squall warning ENDED for the Parry Sound region.
Snow squalls are expected to continue in the Parry Sound area including Carling and Rosseau.
The conditions are affecting areas east of Georgian Bay early this morning.
Occasional bursts of heavy snowfall will create very poor visibility.
The snow squalls should slowly shift southward during the day as winds become more northwesterly behind a passing cold front.
Some areas may see more than 15 cm of snow by later today.
Travel is expected to be hazardous because of the poor visibility in some locations.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
