To some, it may be a relief. To others, it’s just more winter nastiness.
The Parry Sound area is in a deep-freeze, replacing the deluge of snow that fell on the region over the past few days.
The temperature for Friday is expected to reach a high of minus 10 degrees however by mid-morning, the region is still sitting at about minus 20 degrees.
While the daytime thermometer is forecast to hit the freezing mark by Sunday, overnight temperatures will remain frigid, hovering between minus 17 and minus 12 into Tuesday night.
Adding to the mix is about 2cm of snow expected for Friday night.
