UPDATE Thursday, December 27, 6:00 am: Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain WARNING for The Town of Parry Sound, Rosseau, Carling, Killbear Park, and the surrounding area.
Freezing rain is expected to begin Friday evening and overnight.
Snow or snow mixed with ice pellets will change to freezing rain later Friday evening or overnight. Freezing rain is then expected to change to rain early Friday morning.
Travel may be impacted or become hazardous at times.

Environment Canada is expecting freezing rain to hit the Parry Sound region Thursday night.
Affected areas include the Town of Parry Sound, Rosseau, Carling, and Killbear Park.
A low-pressure system on Thursday evening is expected to bring snow or freezing rain before changing over to rain as temperatures begin to warm up significantly.
EC says the exact duration of the freezing rain is not quite known as yet however travel could be impacted or become hazardous at times.
Freezing rain is expected to change to rain by early Friday morning.
Environment Canada also says Freezing Rain Warnings may be issued for this event.
