A traffic complaint results in a stunt driving charge for a Sudbury man.
Police say on Saturday morning they received word about a southbound car on Highway 400 near Seguin travelling extremely fast towards Parry Sound.
West Parry Sound OPP spotted the car and pulled it over.
The driver, 18-year-old Carter Wachnuk is facing a charge of racing a motor vehicle with an excessive speed of 50km/h over the posted speed limit.
As well, Wachnuk’s driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and the car he was driving impounded for seven days.
He’ll be in Parry Sound court on February 15th.
This is the first charge of stunt driving in the Parry Sound region for 2019.
