A raid by West Parry Sound OPP, North East Region OPP, and the Canine Unit, has shut down a drug operation on William Street in Parry Sound.

Police say they conducted the bust on Tuesday, January 29th and seized what they suspect is Cocaine, Crack, Xanax, liquid Codeine, an unknown substance, and a homemade firearm.

Police report the estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $12,000.

Also seized was $1,800 in cash.

Arrested are:

21-year-old Roarke McGeown of  North York, Ontario. He is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC.

McGeown was held for Bail and released on a Recognizance and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Jeremy Hussey-Butler, a 20-year-old male from Scarborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC).

Hussey-Butler was held for Bail and released on a Recognizance and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

39-year-old Joshua Collins of Seguin Township was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA),
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
  • Breach of Recognizance, contrary to section 811 of the CC.

He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

47-year-old Diane Cull of Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
  • Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by Officer in charge, contrary to section 145(5.1) of the CC.

Cull was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Samantha Fisher, a 29-year-old female from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC.

Fisher was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

31-year-old Alicia Jackson of Parry Sound was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC).

Jackson was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

33-year-old Blake McAmmond of McDougall Township was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC,
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to a Probation order. and
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC.

He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Morgen Steele, a 37-year-old male from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC,
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to a Probation order, contrary to section 117.0(1) of the CC.

Steele was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

38-year-old Melissa Wilcox of Parry Sound was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC,
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to a Probation order. and
  • Fail to comply with Conditions of Undertaking given by Officer in charge, contrary to section 145(5.1) of the CC.
