The first sponsorship cheques are now in the hands of the principal recipients of the Flying Fathers Triple H Charity Challenge.
On Tuesday afternoon at the Hope Pregnancy Support Centre in Parry Sound, sponsorship cheques were presented to representatives of the Pregnancy Centre, Hospice West Parry Sound, and Habitat for Humanity.
Kevin Barks and Jonathan Keown of Bayshore Financial Group in Parry Sound presented three cheques of $1000 each to Cathy Birnie, Executive Director of the Hope Pregnancy Support Centre, Melanie Honsinger, Executive Director of Hospice West Parry Sound, and Doug MacDonald, Site Supervisor Parry Sound for Habitat for Humanity.
The cheques represented Bayshore Financial’s commitment as a sponsor of the Flying Fathers Triple H Charity Challenge.
Former Parry Sound Councillor and Charity Challenge organizer Wayne Cormier also presented three $500 cheques on behalf of the Knights of Columbus’s sponsorship commitment.
The Flying Fathers Triple H Charity Challenge hockey game between the Flying Fathers and the Knights of Columbus-Shriners Eager Beavers takes place on Wednesday, February 20th at the Bobby Orr Community Centre.
All proceeds raised will go to the three charity organizations
