As many parts of Parry Sound-Muskoka are experiencing severe flooding this holiday weekend, the Seguin River in Parry Sound is also unleashing its full fury.

Heavy rains and a spring thaw have created flooding conditions right across the region with a Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Flood Watch in effect for the Parry Sound District.

The Flood Watch advises keeping away from river banks and if there is a perfect example as to why, this portion of the river beneath the CP Trestle bridge comes pretty close.

The MNRF Flood Watch remains in effect for the district until Wednesday, April 24th.
