The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reports improving conditions in the Parry Sound District have warranted a flood watch to be downgraded to a Flood Outlook.

The MNRF defines a FLOOD OUTLOOK as an alert that gives early notice of the potential for flooding based on weather forecasts calling for heavy rain, snow melt, high winds or other conditions.

A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Muskoka River, French River, and Lower Pickerel River Watersheds.

This alert remains in effect until Friday, May 17th.
